Need help with routine

PSU12

New member
So im looking for a new routine with my upcoming cycle in about a week and this is what i was thinking of; i plan on hitting each muslce directly once a week with 5-6 different excercises a day

M-biceps
T-Chest
W-Legs
R-Back/shoulder
F-Triceps/abs
S-off
Su-off

How bad of an idea is it to combine back/shoulder and take two days off back to back. I am just looking for a new routine and this is just something I was thinking of. Any advice on hitting each once a week directly and hard would be appreciated.

Thanks,
PSU

Personally, I dont like to take two days in a row off & like the mid-week break or I'll do cardio only on that day. heres my split-

day 1- Shoulders, rear delts, abs**
day 2 - Back, biceps, triceps
day 3 - Hams, abs, calves
day 4 - Off from training (cardio only)
day 5 - Shoulders, lats, rear delts
day 6 - Legs, abs, hams
day 7 - off day - rest!

**I do chest exercises every other wk.

Yea i def agree, i guess i should of put in that on Saturdays and Sundays i have my basketball games, two a day with the company league i play in. So i guess that counts as cardio.

Whats your opinion on hitting one muscle group hard everyday directly?

Thanks,
PSU

i like training that way, but not everyone does. Full-body workouts have never interested me. I get better results separating muscle groups & lifting the heaviest/hardest i can.

Thanks a lot, how does my work out routine look about with my Monday-Friday and then cardio/sports on the weekend. Im somewhat confused on how i can hit them all in a five day a week routine. So thats why i was thinking just combining shoulder and back but i have never done that and not sure if its a great idea.

Thanks man, how would you recommend doing the bis/tris in one day cause i was thinking of doing 6 different excercises for each, maybe just do 4 excercises for each?

six diff exercises for bis & tris??? thats really overkill...stick to 2 or 3 at most.

Truthfully, focus on your compound lifts- squats, deadlifts & bench. These will add mass ALL over & make your arms bigger than doing tons of iso arm work.
