Need Help With My New Split!!

tzan

New member
Whats up. Haven't been on here in a while. Anyways, I'm going to be starting a cycle shortly and am going to change around my splits. I want to run it so I'm exercising with opposite muscle groups. These are the two I was thinking about, which would you choose? Please tell me if anyone can come up with a better order of working my splits than these:

Workout 1:
Sun-Off
Mon-Back/Tri's
Tues-Off
Wed-Legs
Thur-Chest/Bi's
Fri-Off
Sat-Shoulders

Workout 2:
Sun-Off
Mon-Back/Tri's
Tues-Off
Wed-Chest/Bi's
Thur-Legs
Fri-Off
Sat-Shoulders

I was thinking workout 2 so my shoulders have more time to recover from my chest day. On the other hand my back and chest days are closer together which may not be enough recovery time with my arms. Which one looks better. Remember I will be on the sauve, so that will help a little in my recovery time.

i'm actually doing a similiar split right now

mon - Back/ tri's
Tue - shoulders/traps/hams
wed - none
Thu - Quads/calves
Fri - chest/ bi's/forearms
Sat. - none
sun -none

the only reason i put i have it like this is so that i'm not still super sore from Deadlifts on my back day for when i do squats on my leg day.

li've only been doing this over the summer but i feel like i'm doing good so far with it. let me know how you like it

I personally like the 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off

i.e:

Sun - Off
Mon - On
Tues - On
Wed - Off
Thurs - On
Fri - On
Sat - Off

That seems to work well for me.
