Need help with a fat-fast type diet - PLEASE HELP!

Alright, sorry I made my subject so dramatic, but I'm glad it got your attention.

I am currently about 250 lbs., 16-18% bf. That's about 210 lbs. lean, 40 lbs. fat. After reading TC's Fat Fast diet on T-Mag (I know, T-mag is horsecrap) I'm very motivated to start a near starvation ketogenic diet - I have on my person about 50 grams of 4-AD which I plan on using at 1.5 grams per day orally while on this diet, which I plan on doing for 3-4 weeks. I hope to lose 25 lbs. of fat and keep all of my lean mass. I plan on purchasing 4 bottles of Isopure Zero Carb and a couple of bottles of cold-pressed flax seed oil. I plan on eating 200 grams of Isopure protein a day (800 cal), and ingesting about 700 calories worth of flax seed oil every day, which would bring my daily caloric intake to about 1500 cal. I plan on working out 3 times per week during this adventure, but I still haven't decided exactly what my workout will be. So, assuming I burn about 5000 cal a day, I will lose about 1 lb. of fat per day, bringing me 21-28 lbs. lighter upon completion of this diet (probably even lighter due to water weight loss). And if TC isn't full of crap, I will have lost no muscle because of the relatively high level of muscle-protecting 4-AD that will be in my bloodstream. What do you guys think? Too extreme? Should I up my calories? Any brand of flax oil you'd recommend? Are there good and cheap zero carb bars I could buy instead of the Isopure? Thanks in advance, and good liftin' to all!

a pound of fat a day? Even if you lose that weight as soon as the diet ends you'll probably rebound hard and gain it back.

Choose a better diet, do some cardio and take the weight off at a slower pace, it's easier to keep it off that way after the diet. I have had really good success with a CKD, maybe you should think about that diet.

First off, up your protein if you plan do that type of diet. That is in no way adequate for cutting or losing fat. Since your not consuming alot of carbs you need your protein. Secondly, i do agree with Nutzz. Take the fat off slower and get in shape. A drastic drop in calories, carbs and higher cardiovascular exercise could be damaging to the heart and other organs. I would suggest you plan everything out carefully before moving on.

sorry pardeus, i could not make it through all 6,255 words that you wrote on leptin. thats too much for me. im not much of a reader. could you do me a favor and sum it up into a few basic ideas. im sorta a newbie. :newbie:

i think nutzz is correct that you will rebound and gain it back unless you slowely introduce food back into your diet, but this diet is really a pain. I would much better do it slower and more healthier with a ckd diet or low carb diet as it is much easier to do and wont have the rebound affect as drastically as this diet . If you do decide to go with this diet I think you will get results but i would up my cals and protein intake. 1500 cals is too damn low I as your metabolism would drop considerably and then after the diet all the food you will become fat as your metabolism has slowed so much. The thing is if your gonna do the fast fat diet and want to up your calories it also makes it pointless since you will be eating the same crap everyday when you could be eating more nutritious food and still loose the weight. I pretty much restated what has been stated but hopefully I help some.
