Alright, sorry I made my subject so dramatic, but I'm glad it got your attention.
I am currently about 250 lbs., 16-18% bf. That's about 210 lbs. lean, 40 lbs. fat. After reading TC's Fat Fast diet on T-Mag (I know, T-mag is horsecrap) I'm very motivated to start a near starvation ketogenic diet - I have on my person about 50 grams of 4-AD which I plan on using at 1.5 grams per day orally while on this diet, which I plan on doing for 3-4 weeks. I hope to lose 25 lbs. of fat and keep all of my lean mass. I plan on purchasing 4 bottles of Isopure Zero Carb and a couple of bottles of cold-pressed flax seed oil. I plan on eating 200 grams of Isopure protein a day (800 cal), and ingesting about 700 calories worth of flax seed oil every day, which would bring my daily caloric intake to about 1500 cal. I plan on working out 3 times per week during this adventure, but I still haven't decided exactly what my workout will be. So, assuming I burn about 5000 cal a day, I will lose about 1 lb. of fat per day, bringing me 21-28 lbs. lighter upon completion of this diet (probably even lighter due to water weight loss). And if TC isn't full of crap, I will have lost no muscle because of the relatively high level of muscle-protecting 4-AD that will be in my bloodstream. What do you guys think? Too extreme? Should I up my calories? Any brand of flax oil you'd recommend? Are there good and cheap zero carb bars I could buy instead of the Isopure? Thanks in advance, and good liftin' to all!
