Maybe Chamb would be interested? His weight stays around 210 - and he wears a Metal size 54. Do you think it might fit him? Please let me know. PM me with how much to sell - thanks!

did some research and im liking what i hear about the rage x. im going to have my gf measure me up tonight and im going to order one. who has the fastest service on these? anyone but inzer right lol. i cant wait to try this shirt out. peopel are saying they get 50-60 lbs first time they use it! thats big numbers for a single ply, though i heard they are not very durable and lose strength or blow out rather quickly. any feedback on that?

50-60 lbs is on the low side, mine takes 155 more than my raw max just to touch. it depends on how tight you wear it and how strong your lockout is, most people are getting 75-100 out of them, that wear them correctly. 150 is not out of the question. and yes im talking single ply. they do not blow easily. they have very strong stiching. the ones that are blowing are guys using them super super tight, to get the great carryover, and anything will blow when you do that. and yes you will hear of more rages blowing than say a metal poly or a fury, but there are 20x as many people using them as compared to other shirts. i have used almost every shirt made and this is the best shirt i have used by far. and for fast service, try irongladiators ( brent mikesell), house of pain, or powerlifting superstore. all have great service.

thats good enough for me! i just ordered one about 20 minutes ago. I ordered it with my exact measurements, so it shouldnt be too tight. I am not too experienced with shirts at all, im worried about my inexperience hurting me. Meaning if you go outside the grove at all youll end up with the weight on your face like a denim. or is it more forgiving because its only single ply poly?

the groove is pretty forgiving, you just need to train in it alot, use 3 spotters if you have them, or bench in a power cage, i have never had a weight fly back toward my head, but i have dumped it on my stomach. they probably sent you a shirt that is tight, but not real tight, when you get into the really tight ones that give the great carryover the margin for error becomes smaller, especially because you have to use 100 or so pounds over your raw max to just get the bar to your chest. i bet they sent you one that is one size bigger than your chest size, that is the norm. i use a 46 and have a 48 chest, that is 2 sizes smaller than they reccomend, but that is where you get the crazy carryover, but you should be very experinced with shirts before you try that. good luck with it, once you get it, ask all the questions you want, we will be able to tell once you try it, if it is the right size for you, and give you some tips on form in the shirt, and how to train for a big shirt bench.

ok this is what im thinking of doing from here on out. I train upper body tues/fri, every two/three weeks (depending on fatigue) i cut volume drastically for one week to recoup then its back at it. i have tweaked my normal workout for this contest, this is what im thinking:

Tues:
closegrip (14" between thumbs) 5-6 sets working to 3rm
6 board 5-6 sets working to 3rm (workdown to 5 board over time like you said)
lockouts (holding weight at top 5+secs) work to 1rm
floor presses work to 5rm
Standing military (mostly for stability) 4x10
Plate raises 2x8-10
Weighted pullups wide 5x5
JM presses and maybe DB skulls if my tris arent blasted yet
Bis/forearms just some accessory crap

Fri:
4 boards 5-6 sets to 3rm (will change to 3 boards 5 weeks out, then 2 board 3 weeks out) put shirt on
3 boards 5-6 sets to 3rm (will change to 2 boards 5 weeks out, then 1 board 3 weeks out) put shirt on
heavy BB rows 5x5
face pulls or upright rows
power shrugs
JM presses
DB skulls
Bis/forearms just some accessory crap

what do you think about this? what should i change? i think this is a pretty solid workout for getting ready. GOD IM SOOO PUMPED TO GET IN THAT SHIRT!!
