Need Help, Cottonseed/Grapeseed Oil

It is obvious now that my gear has way too much BA, I mean I can deal with the pain but when it affects my workout it sucks.

I currently am running ***no UG Lab Names** Test-Enan 250mg/ml. What I need is either sterile USP cottonseed oil or grapeseed oil or in fact any sterile oil that I can use with my gear.

Where do you guys recommend getting it? I have a hard time finding it. Also I live in Canada so some research lab supplies dont ship here.

Any suggestions would be awesome

it should not be that painful n(i mean compared to e.g. suspension)--and you are not pinning that often so not sure what to tell you. i could be a jerk and say man-up and take the pain, but i will not. just massage it a bit.

Cook out the excess Benzyl Alcohol, or mix with other gear. Too get rid of excess benzyl, put the vial in a pan of boiling water. Put a needle in the stopper to vent the gasses. You need only cover about 3 quarters of the bottle height with water. Heat the gear so that the b.a. vaporizes and comes out.

Someone will chime in with more specifics. Any of the oils in their sterile form would work for a mix with your gear though.

I was having big problems with post-injection pain with my homebrew cyp. The injection site would hurt like I was kicked by a horse, for almost a week. A delt shot would seriously affect my shoulder mobility. On a hunch, I tried heating the gear before drawing it, and that did the trick. Sites aren't completely painless now, but it's close enough not to intrude on my life.

On a suggestion from Swole (for which many thanks), I boil a cup of water in the microwave, then drop my vial of gear into the cup for a few minutes. The heated oil is easier to draw and shoot. I think it was the viscosity of the oil, injuring my muscle tissue, that caused the pain, not a reaction to the BA or BB.

At any rate, before you go off playing chemist with your stuff, try heating it and see if it helps.

By the way, my homebrew cyp is 250mg/ml, grape seed oil, 2% BA and 10% BB. My previous batch with cotton seed oil was a lot less "ouchy".

You might try going to a health food store and buying a bottle of grapeseed oil. This method I used however I don't condone it. Take the lid off the bottle of grapeseed oil and stick it in the microwave to heat the oil. Not too hot. At the same time take a small glass and put it in boiling water for about 3 min. After the glass is sterile (i use the term liberally) get a coffee filter and use some rubber bands to hold it on top of the glass. Pour the oil on the filter, filling the glass with filtered oil then suck it out of the glass with a syringe and fill up some vials with the oil. When you go to inject mix the oil with the test in the syringe and shoot. Not exactly a sterile environment but probably more like a UGL than we would like to believe!

I don't think diluting this stuff will help the pain, now you'll be doubling the volume of the oil bolus that needs to be absorbed IM.

I know for a fact that diluting it with grapeseed oil takes away the pain. I am one of the unlucky whom are sensitive to the prop ester and when I did quad injections I could barely walk. Then I read a thread on diluting prop and sust 250 with grapeseed oil. Talked to a local Pro-BBer and he explained how to do it the most unsafe way as posible. So I know for a fact it works. Good luck and happy painless prop days to all!!!

I've never heated gear. From what I've read you can use an oven for greater heat control. Ventilating it (needle without syringe through the stopper) is crucial to avoid an explosion.
Personally I wouldn't heat it for any reason, because heat degrades the active ingredients. If you've ever read the label of HG gear it says store at room temperature...

Commercial human grade gear is manufactured with heat. They heat it to dissolve the ester in the oil, and they heat to sterilize.

That's true, but why the warnings on the label? My guess is that prolonged exposure to heat above room temperature will degrade the potency of the medication.

Heating the oil just enough to reduce viscosity is not what I'd call "prolonged exposure".

Exactly, you just don't want to be storing it for prolonged periods in a hot environment. Using a little heat before injection is not going to degrade anything.

Just to make my point clear, my position is that, quite often, post-injection pain is caused by injury, not a reaction to the chemicals. Reducing the viscosity of the oil will reduce that type of injury.

On the other hand, some esters are inherently painful, such as prop.

The only way to know for sure which one is bothering you is to try it both ways. Dilute one dose with oil and shoot it, see if it makes a difference; heat another dose and shoot it, see which method works for you.

I once tested my BA sensitivity, I drew 0.25ml BA and mixed it with 0.75ml bac water, and shot it in my glute. Nothing happened.

Thank you! Glad I am not the only one!!! Or if he got a shitty batch he might as well dilute it so it doesn't go to waste...
