Need help .....computer problems

my c drive is registering 19.1 GB of used space on a 20 GB hard disk.

Problem is, when I individually add the used space from all c drive sub files, I only come out with 12 GB of used space.

2 days ago, my c drive registered over 8 GB of free storage space. And i havent downloaded any programs exceeding 1 GB in 48 hours.


I think my computer may have a virus. Not sure though.

any help would be appreciated....

been negleting to run scandisk the past few weeks and something obviously went wrong. just ran it now and everythings honkey dorey!
