Need deload advice immediately!

So I just got back from spring break. If you have followed my log, I missed a week of lifting due to tapering for a meet and another week because I got pneumonia. Then I lifted for a week, then I went on spring break.

What I need to know right away for today's workout is: by what % do I deload for the following week(s).

Thanks for the help, and here is my log if anyone needs it: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534107

I think it might be best just to start the 5x5 over again. Plug in your new numbers and use the first 4 weeks as a "deload" to get used to the weights again. That way you have a few weeks to get conditioned again before you get back to hitting PR's.

i decide to deload 75% this week and 90% next week then press on from where I was.
how overtrained were you bro?

are you feeling really weak from the pneumonia and/or lack of eating, ect?

or are you just kinda picking up from where you left off?

just kinda trying to get back. I suppose I didn't really lose anything. It was just a month of inconsistency. I feel weaker on the bench, but not really under the squat bar. I am sure after this week at 75, next at 90, and the following back to 100, I will be just fine.

I always take it easy the first week after a break. Pushing hard will lead to more aches but not more gains and will not get you back into full swing any faster.

At least, that how it's worked with me over 20-odd years of trial and error.
