I don't have intrest in cardio. Its very boring to me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I could be as excited about doing cardio as I am about strength training.

thanks for all the help...appreciate it!

Cardio is usually everyones least favorite part.
I would just switch machines throughout your training.
IE: 15 min, on the bike, 15 min. treadmill, 15 min. elliptical, 15 min. jump rope.
Update your playlist, that always stokes me. :)

I hit the bag for about a half hour, and then run 30 mins on the treadmill every other day. I don't really like running but, I need to do it. I make it through the run with my Ipod. If I ever forgot it or to charge it I would go nuts.

thats it right there^
if youre not keen on 'standard' forms of cardio, for which i wouldnt blame you, its fucking boring, why not do some bag work? i must have said this 100 times, but what other form of cardio increases your power, flexibility, co ordination whilst burning fat and improving your cardio vascular endurance. do it right and its such an intense form of cardio, 3x3min round is enough to have most people on their knees, gasping for air and dripping with sweat.

I've boxed from a very young age, also I'm in the military so I have a strict BF% I have to maintain under. I had gained a great deal of weight after 2 surgeries in the middle east, and because of my age it's harder and harder for me to keep it down. I have to be on top of it always. It helps when you make it fun, or something you like.

I also challenge myself with the running, ie faster time, longer run, incline, etc...

well big respect to you for still being in good shape, especially after your operations. iv never minded running, infact, i quite enjoy it. but i can see how a lot of people cant be arsed with running, i get a lot of people asking me how to lose bodyfat, and a lot of the time i suggest to them they start doing a bit of kickboxing (i help train a class, so its a bit of a plug lol) even if the emphasis is not on becoming a fighter, i believe it is a awesome form of cardio, and i completely agree when you say if its enjoyable, its easier to do, and your more likely to keep at it.
