Need Arimidex?

Well, do I?? This is bugging the hell out of me. I will be running 300mg of Deca and 400mg of Test Cyp. I have clomid to use post cycle and I will already have Nolvadex on hand.

Arimidex cost a lot of money. Can I just have plenty of Nolvadex on hand, so that if I start having problems I can run it ED for the rest of my cycle?

I really would like straight forward replys here! Yes or No and why you think so. Please, from experience not science! All the science shit really seems to make my choice that much harder.

If you want to lessen the water retention from the test, then yes.

If you dont mind the water and want to risk getting gyno from the test, then no.

If you have pelnty of nolvadex on hand, then there's absolutely no reason you need Arimidex, especially at only 400mg/wk of test. The only other concern would be progesterone-based side-effects, those could be combated with bromocriptine, in which case, that would be the drug you'd need to add, or have on hand, just in case. You have no need for Arimidex here, it is a waste of your money and will lower your HDL cholesterol levels if used throughout the entire cycle. Run the cycle, if symptoms appear, start the Nolvadex, otherwise, you're fine.

For what I understand is that Nolvadex it is one of the best gyno fighting drugs around. How much more am I increasing my chances of getting gyno, if I dont use Arimidex? Also, whats the big deal with water and bloat? Is it serious enough to spend $180?

I only mention using arimidex because I do not know how prone you are to gyno from test. Ever use test b4?

madmatt, you need to do a little research on what Arimidex and Nolvadex are. You also need to look into how to combat the specific side-effects of Deca and Test. Each one has its place. There is no 'simple' answer here. You need to make some decisions for yourself. Almight and I have both provided you with a good starting point, now you need to go learn about what these things are and do before you start putting them in your body.

I recommend the Anabolic Reference Guide 2002, it will cover side-effects of each and what you can do about them. It will also explain exactly how Novla and Arimidex work. You could probably find this all on-line, as well.

No, I have not used Test B4. This is my first cycle and I have been putting in hours educating myself on ever aspect of gear and other drugs. It is kind of funny how you recommended the Anabolics 2002. I would say that about 85% of everything I've learned thus far has came from this book.

Since, you brought it up.... Bill says that Arimidex is a great choice. Nevertheless, he talks about Arimidex suppression of HDL and estrogen. He also goes on to say that....since the estrogen receptor antagonist Nolvadex is shown not to display an antiestrogenic effect on cholesterol values, it is certainly the preferred form of estrogen maintenence for those concerned with cardiovascular health.

This is not the shit I want to get into. All I would like is for people to say things such as. "I have done a cycle of Test with and without Arimidex and this is what I have noticed......" or "Fuck Arimidex because the price does not support the benfit." or " I ran just Nolva at 10mg a day for my whole cycle and was fine"

Well, bro, everyone is different, and you need to gauge your sensitivity. Do as I said in my first post, then. I, for one, have used test for years, I have never once ever taken an anti-E. Knock on cardboard, but some of us are gifted. Others are not. Some people get big'ol boobies off of 200mg enanthate/week. Sucks for them, and I feel bad for'm. Just have the Nolva ready just in case (like I still do).

i have went through many cycles like that without arimidex or any anti-e for that matter. it all depends on if you care about water retention....which i dont. also it depends on how sensitive you are to gyno. i think you will be fine with just nolva.

I blow up like a balloon off 500 mg of test so I use arimidex just for that. For the $150 or so it's worth it to me just to not be all bloated, plus the not worrying about gyno is great too.

These are the answers I figured I would start getting. I really think that I can overlook the Arimidex and just get plenty of Nolvadex. On a ten week cycle like this how much Nolva would you tell a rookie to have on hand?

madmatt, have enough for 20mg/day. That's extreme case, but if you are VERY sensitive, that's about what you'll need. You've overlooked the progesterone aspect of the deca, I think. Get some bromo (read previous post).
