Need advice

I would like opinions about what supps I should take. I am new to the boards and I don't have time to do a search. I want to maximize muscle gain and still maintain my six pack. I am a Muay Thai fighter and cardio is the name of the game. Thanks to genetic's, I naturally have a low bf% (around 7%) and have a physique that most people work hard for. Anyone's input is welcome and thanks in advance.

Welcome to EF :)

First thing I will say is an old bodybuilding phrase 'Abs on show, muscles wont grow'.

In order for you to add quality mass and develop your physique further you will really need to feed your body. This means saying goodbye to your abs for a short time. Make sure that your caloric intake exceeds that which you are expending during your workouts and that your protein intake is at one gram per pound of lean body mass. You will also have to restrict the level of cardio you are performing. Once you get to a body weight you are comfortable with, reintroduce the cardio program gradually, lower your caloric intake, raise your protein intake and lift very heavy.

If you just want to define the muscle mass you currently have then increase your protein intake and lift very heavy. Any gains you may experience though will be very slight and slow going.

To add quality mass you have to go through a bulking program and not a cutting program which is what you are currently in.

The only supplement I would recommend is a Protein supplement. Use Whey Isolate pre and post workout and Casein protein throughout the rest of the day. As an alternative, use Whey Concentrate.

Yeah bro..if you're serious about packing on lbs you may lose you 6 for a little while..But if you have the genetics like you say then your six pack will most likely not completely dissappear and will come back pretty easy...I know I that I never completely lose my 6 when I bulk...Eating leaner foods will help too...And if you see it dissappearing too fast then cutback on your calorie intake a little bit...And Welcome to EF...a great place to hang out and learn...
