Need advice: Going to a high school prom

I know what your thinking. Why go through this again? But the girl asked me, and they say girls are sure to put out on prom night.

But it isnt all champagne and roses. For one those things cost a lot of money, and I'm kind of hesitant to lay out the cash until I'm sure I'll be getting some. The other thing is it has been 18 years since I was in high school,m and I'[m embarasssed to say, I havent kept up with the social pecking order. I mean, I think shes cool, so she may be A list, but what if Im wrong and we end up sitting at the B list table? That would be embarassing as hell. How do I find out if her and her clique rule the school without insulting her?

Also, can anyone recommend a good acne cleanser, just in case my body has flashbacks?
