Need a little advice..

I'm about 2 weeks into my diet for a show that is 10 weeks away. I've already lost about 8 pounds, so I am pretty happy about that. I'm 6'1" and currently about 179. I went and had my bodyfat checked today (it was only 3-site skinfold), but it came out at 8%. My question is.. if I'm at 8% now.. and it's 10 weeks from a show, I calculated that I only have to lose like 8 or 9 more pounds for contest. I only have to lose like 3/4's of a pound a week. Should I ease up on the dieting for a week or two, and then hit it again about 8 weeks out so I can avoid losing too much musclemass? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Gosh dude... that's a tough call. I read somewhere that Arnold felt and looked better a couple weeks after his first few competitions. So he learned to purposely "peak" 2 weeks out. Then (I assume) he would up his calories and "fill out" some. You have an opportunity to experiment with that theory. And I don't think you risk losing significant muscle mass. I'm no expert, but that's what I would do. :) Any more experienced opinions out there???
