need a dish network reciever

I need a dish network reciever, preferably the cheapest model (the 301).

I know everyone will say 'go to ebay', but ebay's electronics section is laced with resellers selling returned (i.e., broken then repaired) merchandise. I would rather not get any electronics equiptment from ebay.

So is there an electronics place like pricewatch.com that can get me a new model for 60% of what everyone else is charging?

The cheapest i have seen for a new dish network reciever model 301 is $99 + S/H. Most everywhere charges that.

You might consider getting a dish 500 and a good card that you can program and watch free tv. They have all kinds of good deals on ebay you just have to watch the wording.

A 500 is a 301. A 301 is the cheapest 500 model they make (retails for about $99 new).

ebay tends to sell 'refurbished' receivers. I'm not willing to risk buying one. I want one new, and i want proof it is new. The new ones on ebay are basically the same as anywhere else on the net, around $99.
