Neck discomfort from squatting?

Where do you place the bar??? Make sure it isn't on the cervical vertebrae, it should be on the meaty part of the traps for olympic squats, lower if you do PL squats........also, keep your head fixed straight ahead, definitely don't move it around....I wouldn't look up either, lots of people do that as they have heard thats correct form, I don't know where it came from, lol, but look straight ahead.
 
i had a PT monitoring me all the way mate.

He made sure it was on my traps and i could defo feel it resting.

Unless, I've just strained it somehow.
 
It could be "just one of those things". As long as it is getting better and it doesn't consistently happen when squatting, I wouldn't worry about it.
