for most of you, you're naming your heritage, not your nationality. you can have only one nationality unless you have dual citizenship.

You know - there IS an east europe and west europe....

And especially in the 19th century, they talked about Europe in this manner. For instance, the segregation of the Jews during the time of Spinoza, Mendelsohn, etc. Eastern/Western europe. I'm not an idiot.... hehe.

Nope. Just saying that in case you were about to make fun of me, I do know what I am talking about. LOL. I'm not one to teach that.. I don't know enough to teach it but I know basics.

if you know the basics, you do realize where eastern europe generally starts, right?

Austria is certainly not eastern europe. In fact, eastern europe is more than just geographical...it's the culture and mindset of the european countries that dictates that.

if you said hungary, you'd be close...but austria is certainly not.

latvia, czech republic, slovakia, belarus, ukraine....etc. all the stuff under the soviet curtain was eastern europe.

Austria is considered Eastern europe. Eastern and southern along with Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey. It's not as east as Poland or some of the other countries.. but it can still be considered eastern/southern europe. Well, at least from what I learned I thought...

Oh whatever.. all I know is I'm a damn mutt. LOL.

I will stop the sugar coating,

you'd do yourself a great favor if you decide to simply keep your mouth shut when you don't know what you are talking about.

It's better, trust me on that one.

The only thing Eastern in Austria (A Central European country) is its name "Ă–sterreich" which means Empire of the East and the thousands of Eastern European immigrants that live there.
