NANBF drug testing

HelP! I am getting ready for a natural bodybuilding contest in 2 weeks and I just found out that the supplements I have been using (I thought they were all natural supplements, as I ordered them thru places like Bodybuilding.com) are banned. The itmes I have used are 1-AD (no longer using as didn't like the side effects), DHEA and ProAndro Cream. I am a female and need to know if these items will show up on a urine test or what. I definitely don't want to be kicked out from competing for 7 years if they show up on my test. Any advice?

I just found out they test for these items today and have been using both DHEA & NorAndro Cream for the past few weeks up until today. My show is two weeks from this Saturday. Should I enter or postpone competing until the spring?

What area are you competing in? Do you know who the promoter is?

I don't really know the clearance times of either of the compounds you are using -- you may be able to find that with some searches... The question is: how likely are you to get singled out for polygraph? Can you beat a polygraph? Also, are you ready to do a show in two weeks? Also, how much of a competitive advantage have the dhea and norandro cream given you (do you feel ethical competing against total natties?)

I have not experienced much results from the supplements there fore I do not feel like I "cheated". I had no idea that these were not allowed and have stopped them immediately. I figured anything you could buy legally thru bodybuilding.com was ok to use. I am very competative and have usually placed 1st or 2nd for my division. I am ready for the show and I hate to see all my hard work go to waste if I cannot enter this show. It is going to be held in Michigan.

Well, the half-life of DHEA is only about 10 hours.

Norandro, assuming it's 19-nor will only be detectable up to two weeks.

So, you should be fine. Just don't be nervous on the poly -- it's not like you're taking illegal substances. I think it's kind of ridiculous some of the things NANBF bans... Not many natty bodybuilders out there that haven't experimented with prohormones...

And we won't even go into the inabilty to test for insulin or GH... lol...

As an aside, I just test judged my first NANBF show last weekend. My wife head judges NANBF shows from time to time.

i've heard they polygraph everyone at these shows, at least that's what a couple of my buddies told me....good luck; they can be beat, but it's pretty intimidating...
