Minimum wage jobs were never meant to support a fucking family in the first place. In fact they werent meant to support a single adult. They are meant for teens/college students and young adults getting a first job until they get further education/training/certification/experience to advance past a minimum wage.
But of course, every broke dick faggot that never went to school or training thinks the world owes them $25/hr job and should be federal minimum wage.

Well, their #1 argument for raising the minimum wage is something like a male during the 50's could support his family on a minimum wage job, but you can't anymore. The #2 argument is something along the lines of Aussies get $15 hr minimum wage, so they think we deserve the same.
i believe it was a male during the 1950s could support a family with just a high school diploma, which in those days translated into a nice middle class job. Now even a bachelors isnt enough. Thats just inflation of education, just like everything else thats suffered from inflation since the 1950s. Nothing really earth shattering here and the government cant fix it through price fixing of the labor market. All a higher minimum wage is a band aid, in short order the higher cost of goods and services that companies will pass on to the consumer will quickly equalize the economy again and put the minimum wage back in its place again for all the broke dicks.
There is an alarming amount of people out there that do not/will not work to support themselves or their children and expect others to do it
I do not like that some of these jobs pay so little and schedule so these people can't work full time so that people have to be on assistance get lumped in with the white trash lazy entitled assholes who refuse to work to put a roof over their own head and feed their own kids.
There should be no assistance for anyone except the very desperate and the shockingly needy and every single job ought to pay enough for someone to survive, somewhat kinda comfortably.
It bothers me none that someone with less education than me or less experience could get paid a decent wage if they work for it. Why would that bother me? It makes my blood boil when people turn to someone else to take care of them because they are lazy.
