With most of my thoughts and deeds, I think of my maternal grandmother. I wonder if I will ever be HALF the woman my Mama was... I can die happy if I accomplish this goal.

My family has a nice sized two family house in New Jersey. My grandma and my great Uncle used to inhabit the top apartment, and our family, the bottom. This is how I grew up. But my Grandmother (nana) and Uncle, have passed on some time ago. Now, my brother and Mother currently live downstairs, and I took the top apartment for myself. I plan on moving to Florida soon, so it works out as it saves me money. I like living there though, because I feel closer to them. I loved my grandma and great uncle. My great uncle always lived with us. My grandfather died, but, my great uncle never married, and lived with my grandparents all his life. I Miss them to this day. Sometimes, late at night, or at different times... I do feel like I am not the only one in the apartment upstairs. I would hope they are there in spirit still watching over me. I love them and miss them a lot.
