I agree. Some of their lyrics are not very well written at all, but look back at Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. Those songs, some of the epics ... are amazingly written stories.

Don't judge a band by a few crappily written songs. Everyone has them.

I gave up on Metallica in 4th grade. I discovered a band called Iron Maiden around that time.

Master of Puppets is about the only album I can stand to hear anymore.

Dave Mustaine needs to beat down James and Kirk.
