nair reaction.............

after reading the threads on exces hair removal; i took the big step and naired my legs and glutes last night.

the nair removed all the fuzz in record time, but with one strange side effect:

i have large, red welts on my thighs and glutes; looks like large pimples or a rash of some kind. some type of reaction the the nair, i assume.

WTF?????

what will make this rash leave?? aloe vera? neosporum??

oh jesus man, i feel for you. the same shit happened to me, and it hurt like fucking hell. i havent touched nair since then (2 years ago). those little welts will burn like someone set them on fire with a flame thrower. well it did with me, i wish you luck. throw aloe on those sons of bitches.

not that bad, really, just looks like a poison ivy rash.

I am not sure what happened to your legs but I use nair all the time and I do not get that reaction. The only things I can think of are that maybe the soap on your skin that you used in the shower on your legs did not mix well with the nair. Also, it could be that the lotion or anything that you put on your legs afterwards is making the rash appear. After applying nair, you are not supposed to use any lotions or cremes on the skin. I would suggest not applying anymore cremes and gently wash your legs with warm water and no soap asap.

I think those are infected pores, you shoud dissenfect the skin and you will be fine the next day.

I got same thing. Its burn spot or rash? then just wash it with warm water and soap and try not to scratch it much. Swelling should go down in a few days.
