My Workout 10/14

5,5,5 - Originally I was going to do 4 sets, but I barely finished the 3rd set. Damn weight gain :)

D/L
warm ups to

345x miss

I was really pissed that I missed such a low weight. I've done that in the past, just getting back into heavy deads and squats.

Rack D/L from knee height
315x5
325x5

Really felt my lower back full of blood after those.

If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong on the deads or if you can identify my weaknesses, please let me know.

Yeah, I've always had that problem. Ends up basically a stiff leg D/L. I guess I just need to keep practicing with lighter weights to get the form down? Frustrating :mad:

yea..that's all you need to do brotha!!! just practice with lighter weights. tb
 
Mike I started doing Glute Ham Raises, and very strict stiff legged Goodmornings concentrating on the hams

Thanks revex. I will try those. I'm really weak on those two moves. And I have poor hamstring flexibility. I should go back out there and do those moves in a couple hours.

Hey, the overheads were good Mike. You'll get the deads, don't fret :)

You caught the grunts I made, LOL. I was pissed at missing the deadlift, so I took it out on the rack deads.

I couldn't see the vids (you brother's server), but I get the idea. I have the same weaknesses. Don't worry, you'll see quick progress once you start working on them.

Thanks longarms. It seems like everyone goes through the same problems on squats and deads.

when you get that perfect form then you will have your revenge ;)
 
revexrevex is right. I had the same problem when I pulled heavy. I started hittin' my hams, and I was able to hold my ass down after a few months.

I started box squats, glute ham raises, pull-throughs and occasionally SLDL to hit my hams.
