My Trip to VT (Virginia Tech)

It was weird this Saturday going to VT and the softball game going on (which by then had a largest crowd). I wanted to pay my respects. I was curious since It was along the way from Nawlins. I was not related to any of the decedent nor did I know anyone who lost a loved one, but I still wanted to see things

I drove by and saw the memorial which was setup in the drill field. Lots of flowers and what not. Still alot of police around the area and some which actually followed me for a bit. Interestingly enough the shooting did not seem to be a big issue by then. A few folks were skateboarding on the other side of the buildings away from the memorial. I guess it's hit home for most folks and now we have other shooters which are in the media now. Sad that a university would have to deal with such a thing.

I did drive some 150 miles out of the way for that purpose , yes...

That is nice. It is very sad indeed. Seems like there is one horrific tragedy after another every day anymore.
