did back and bi's today so sure i'll be sore tomorrow in those area's

What did you do to get your traps so sore? Mine haven't been like that since the first time I did DL's.

do you do shrugs? both straight bar and db's? For straight bar I do heavy as I can go... 50rep 40 rep 30 rep 20 rep 10 rep. holding on the last few for as long as my little ol trap muscle can handle it.
 
I did legs yesterday, but they're not sore yet. My freakin neck is sore though, I musta slept funny, I woke up with a crick.

I get stingers when I do shrugs. My traps are also more developed than the rest of my back, so I don't do quites as much to train them.

deadlifts and held it up for a while at the top on my last rep of last set

also pullups and tbars, my traps get sore no matter what i do, its better than yesterday but i feel like i always have a nagging soreness in the back of my neck and top of my back

ya i used to do power shrugs, but i was just wasting energy and time, my traps are fine with my compounds

I have certain muscle groups that grow easy... traps, quads, hams and calves. I could just do 2 lbs and they would grow... others are hard to get to grow.

I'm anal about muscle focus, concentration... anatomy and what each exercise works is very important to me when both training and helping someone else with training.

I tell ya... i've done shrugs with a ssb after my surgery on my elbow, and still had the same growth and soreness as i did doing straight bar shrugs and db shrugs.

Traps are sexy, and so mmmmmmm I love to bite them.... never ever too big.
