My thighs are up 2 inches!

A few months ago I asked for help here in putting together my new leg routine to add size to my legs. a lot of people were really helpful... so I wanted to post an update.

My thighs are now up 2 full inches.

My routine is:

5 sprint runs before going to the gym (200 yards)

Squats 5 X 5
Hack Squat 2 X 8-10
Leg Press 2 X 20
A couple play sets at lunges (still trying to balance)
Straight leg deadlift 3 X 5
Lying leg curls 3 X 6-15 (6-10-15)
Calf raises 5 x 10-30 (10-10-20-30-30)

awesome job!!

have you ever tried step-ups? i would do them with 80s and they would give my quads such an amazing pump, especially after the 5 sets of squats!

Thanks all. The best thing about the size increase is I now have calves that are up to par for correct symetry. I'm 43 and to bring my calves up at his age is a miracle.

The gym part of the routine takes about an hour... but I'm not counting the sprints. I like to do a leisurely walk to the park and from the park to the gym.

...and Per Spatts and Night Fly all squats are ATF.
 
great work, I had similar result over my whole body when I first tried the 5x5
