My Squat stance

IMO that is a good thing. I squat narrow stance to hit the top of my quads more. Hamstrings are secondary when I squat. Depends on your goals bro. If your getting into PL'ing its a different story.

The question is: how do you want to squat?

If you plan on being a powerlifter, squat like one. If you don't, traditional squats are generally a better all-around choice.

I'm actually more comfortable with a moderate stance. The super wide stance feels too awkward for me.

Im just squatting to strengthen the legs.......not a powerlifter. I was just curious as ive heard many times that the wider stance is the stronger one. When i squat closer in (about shoulder width or a little closer) I really feel it in my hams as well as my quads. Is that suppose to happen as well with closer stance?

You're just more used to the narrow stance.

I used to squat like that, hit a BIG plateau, and changed my stance. Dropped 80lbs off my max, a few months later, broke my max easily
