My Quest to COMPETE - BEAT THE DISEASE!

If I could get someone to come with me, I'd love to put down some serious food....If I tried to do it solo, prob kill myself...

Thanks for the props....I'm one of 2 dudes that deadlift that I know of...some others do, but 135 and no more....

As for squats, there are more.....90% use the SMith, and the 9% that don't load up 500+lbs and do partials......

2 guys squat hard....both are kids in their low 20's....one goes heavy and hard, props...the other uses a flat bench to guage and REFUSES to go ATF as he says its horrible for the knees......oh well...Im, not one to talk...not until I'm back to 315+, 325+, and 450+ for reps - Bench Squat and Dead....can't believe I just wrote that.....unreal that's what I used to do.....now Im a pathetic 205, 185, 305
 
Well.....all my 5x5s were up 5lbs.....315 started on the floor and ending up with me in standing erect position.....it honestly took huffn puffn jiggln and 5 mins to get it locked out and I wasn't sure I did....so I waited and did it again...same this, but got to the standing erect position locked out and held it for a solid hour.....325 will be my bitch.....but I have no idea how I am gonna get there in a week.....i'll need to gain 10lkbs......fucccckkkkkk.....did I get 315 or not? my trainer said if it starts on the floor and ends up with you holding it locked in the air, its good no matter how the f it gets there...
 
Arms today.....quads sqats tomorrow...I want you to get me on a plan I can start in a few weeks maybe sooner....this one has been for 3 months, I need a switch to help recover and get massive.....something like a 5 day, BNOP, BENCH,DEADS,SQUATS AND AN AUX DAY

Your my boy,,,you know that...honestly, you've turned into a brother to me man....only one who hjas stuck by me from Day #1...many other s continue to show support (which I truly love fellas, thanks) but you man.....from day mfing 1 ....I think it's because we are really alike. Sure I may be a puss and 75lbs lighter, but I have the (or had) the rippedness you want down inside. You won't say it, but deep down you have a small desire to one day rip down and show off that physque. Also, cause we both played DIII fball.....I used to be an animal bro. I know, I know...the older we get the better we were, but seriously. All natty.....400lbs bench and guns that giirls creamed over. I wouldnt say it if it wasnt said directly to my face on many occassions. ANy ways, thanks bro, Ill get there. again.

I prob. shoulda pmd this, but fit it.....balls are out.....have been completely honest spilling my feeling this far.......liing and faking and sending stealth letters just aint my style.
 
Well, it’s MONDAY OCTOBER 16th….of course, no cheats (im such a freaking puss) and cals were low over the weekend. I even brought my own chicken breast and brown rice to my folks house when they had these salmon and lobster cakes, tortinliini salad, cole slaw, broccoli n cheese brown rice….and fiest….I had zilch…..cause why? I’m a fing scum bag whose still looking at his abs every day.

I weighed in at 167 today…I guess no change. I was 171 for a minute there, but I fell off the shelf. Tomorrow I’ll be around there cause I get in about 250g of carbs today vesus prob. 150 yesterday. Actually, I prob will get closer to 300…..Ill be + 3 meals over what I had yesterday.

It’s chest day and I think I am going to barbell bench first again this week and then go to barbell incline (which I haven’t down forever) Next week I’ll start with barbell incline and then do flat barbell and then the third week I’ll go back to dbells for both.

Not sure of what my rep schema should be so Ill keep it the same and try to beat my prev. week’s by 5lbs or 1 rep…..that a good goal? Is that how we build mass? If I got 185 for 4 last week, and I get 190 for 3 this week, how do you know if you’ve gotten stronger??? TIS THE QUESTION……
 
Jeff....you're progressing and you're up what? 25lbs? Thats big....you're getting there....dinner at your parents sounded damn good, wholesome stuff, not bodybuilding diet food, but by no means junk, next Sun...eat dinner there or at the Grandmother's.......you've gotta do it, you haven't had a cheat meal in something like 4 years.

With the progression, yes, the way to grow is to do more work from week to week, either 5 more lbs, or some more reps.....I am a fan of keeping reps constant and adding weight because of the question you asked....if you get 185x4 or 190x3, which is better? 185 multiplied by 4 is more total work than 190x3.....what I would do is decide on 185x5 or 190x4 and make it happen, it should be do-able....but you're right on, progress is the name of the game.
 
17lbs is 17lbs, bro.....you're out of the endless circle you were stuck in and looking up. Nobody can tell and that is GOOD for you, it is reassurance for you that with your height and frame, you can carry much, much more eight, so lift hard and eat up....and cheat next Sun.
