The worst year of my life was spent running a home design rag. Assuming your house isn't the cliche nearly everyone's is, the most important thing is to be articulate about your design. It makes the writer's and editor's work about a thousand times easier, since the average interior designer has the verbal capacity of Helen Keller.

My house is rather unique for South Florida. Rather than doing it in the soft pastel colors, mine is dark with black tile inside. Sort of New Yorkish.

And the pool is inside, it is covered. I keep it heated to 92 degrees year around.

The pool is 92 degrees so no shrinking problems. It is clothing optional. You don't HAVE to take your clothes off. But I can say that all the straight boys and their girlfriends are the first out of their bathing suits.

The first one is the guest bath I have designed in a Japanese theme. There is a circular jacuzzi behind the Sliding Japanese doors.

The second is the bar I had built into my rec room. Not that I drink, but just for when people come over I need something to serve them. I have any brand required to help me get in yo' pants.
