my NEW thread about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake

saw it last night. had a thread about it. had to delete the thread because it was getting to be too wild of a party. lots of flaming in there. nude pics. made an appearance.

If you missed that thread, you truly missed a piece of EF history.

So.. back to this one. I can't believe the dude got his leg cut off, hung on a hook for hours and still was alive. Bitch please. Give up dat ghost.

Also, what happened to the first guy - Kemper? I know he got smashed with a sledgehammer or something. But leatherface was hanging him upside down in the bathtub at the last part that I saw. (he found that engagement ring)

Yeah, he died early.
I thought the ring was going to hold more significance somehow (like maybe Biel finds it or whatever later on, I dunno. Shut up).

It was.... well "different".

The Classic :
you never saw leatherface's face
you never really knew WHY they were doing it
the guy in the wheelchair made a victim you were uneasy about seeing killed
the girl in the freezer popping up
the birdcage of chicken bones
(the good things)

The Remake :
the whole damn town being fucked up
the creepy house
the chase through the clothesline
the hitchhiker
(the good things)

What I didnt like about the remake.... You never really saw leatherface removing body parts or anything from Kemper.
The sissy stoner dude got saved, only to be hung up on the chandelier and chainsawed to death. (he cut him up through the balls I think)
the girl could have grabbed teh chainsaw and attacked leatherface while he was fighting the sissy stoner
the damn chainsaw kept dying and had to be rekranked all the time
the bucktooth little creepy boy that helped them escape
the way leatherface chainsawed his leg wide open, then had his arm hacked off and was still alive days later.

Yeah... but when the reporter(s) came to the house to look around, he went down the stairs and leatherface jumped out and got him. Remember they backed up and said that black and white film was the last time he was seen? I think they came to house later on. It couldn't have been that fast, as leather face was out on the road attacking that car then. so chopped off arm, saw'd up leg.... how long you think someone would live before blood loss killed them?

I dont know. it looked like he ran the chainsaw between his legs, but I couldn't tell. maybe someone esle knows
