So what would you do? I have become so used to them living in the Philippines that I'm not sure what to do here in Japan. It has been crawling on my walls for the last week, should I kick it out? Anybody have any input?

Is it a Geko? They are good luck i thought

I don't know anything about it, just it is crawling on my walls of my apt. I just moved in so I don't know it was here or if it got in. I guess I'll let it hang out a bit and see what becomes. Do you name a Geko?

Keep it....it could save you hundreds on your car insurance.

So I'm leaving for the next 7 weeks, do you think it will be here when I return?

I'd leave it alone. They eat other little pesky critters.

I usually would take them outside when I lived in Florida so that they could find food.

Geckos used to cost $50-$80 at pet stores around here. I was forced to downgrade to an anole when I was young... he was cute, but I always wanted a gecko.

Ghecko's arent too fond of being handled and bite often.
They do wonders in keeping down the bug, mostly roach population
