The rotator cuff tendons are intact and the rotator musculature is well maintained. There is however, the possibility of impingement due to thickening and mild irregularity of the coracoacromial ligament as well as a lateral downsloping of the acromion.
The glenohumeral articulation is well maintained as the visualized labrum is unremarkable. The lond head of the bicep tendon is normal. Marrow siganl is within normal limits throughout. There is no joint effusion or bursal collection.
CONCLUSION- Possible impingement due to the lateral downsloping of the acromion and thickening of the coracoacromial ligament.
I have made an appt with my ortho. What does this mean though? What should I expect? Thanks for any input
