My Home Gym: Almost There!

Now that the gardens are planted and the irrigation is done, I can finally get back to finishing my gym. All the framing is complete and the drywall is going up. I can't wait!

What's your plan for equipment in there?

Right now my home gym is as follows:

Power/squat rack with Ivanko oly set
High/low pulley selectorized 300 lb stack with low seated row attachment and pulldown attachment, wide and narrow handles and tricep rope etc
Clean/deadlift platform (rubber mats on floor :) )
1 flat bench
1 adjustable incline bench
EZ curl oly bar
Pull up bar
Inversion boots
45 and 80 lb fixed DB pairs
adjustable DB's
Flat screen 42" TV
Killer stereo

This is all in my finished basement

Pretty basic but you can definitely get a good work out with that. I think my next purchase is a 50 lb kettle bell for doing swings and all that kind of crap. I've been using the kettle bells at the gym I belong to to superset swings, kettle bell 1 arm cleans etc to keep my heart rate up during a workout and it completely changes the intensity. Helping with burning fat.

I've got a Nautilus Smith Machine, PowerBlock dumbbells, treadmill, recumbent bicycle. No video as of yet, but I do have a nice audio system. A nice Smith machine and dumbbells is enough for me as I do most of my running above 8000ft in the thin air.

Looking good so far!

One day this is something I will have. All I need is a fully loaded power rack, bumper plates, a few accessories, and some room.

Nautilus is all you need for the most perfectly trained physique of all time

it's looking great, I'm converting my second guest room into a small home gym bu I only have a couple of ellipticals, ab equipment and bench for now...
Pot pics when complete!
