my gyno isnt really gyno, or is it ????

Well, today i went to the doctor, for my supposed gyno.
previously, i went to him, and he reffered me to get an ultrasound.
that was back in Jan. I go to see him today, and he tell me the results of the ultrasound :
No gynecomastia found

what the fuck, can someone please explain this goddamn lump in behind my nipple then??

Anyways, he said it could be an infection of some sorts, and gave me some cream (i dont know what the cream is, cause i havent picked it up yet) - some anti-fungal/bacterial/steroid cream (yes more steroids !!!)

Im thinking this may make sense for a few reasons

1. I got the gyno after a cycle
2. Ive taken enough drugs to kill a horse, with no real noticable decrease in size.

any thoughts ???

Did you at any time have sore nipples? I had rebound gyno last year...during my cycle of deca/test both nips became tender so I immediately started my nolva. It quickly went away but then a few months post cycle I found a small lump under my right nipple. I played it off to the doc like it was still sore and uncomfortable even though it no longer was, just so I could have the surgery to remove it. I guess if you take the cream and it doesn't go away, you'll know for sure.
One more thing...mine was only noticeable if my nipples weren't hard at the time.

Try the cream and go from there.

You played it off like it still hurt and the doc let you have surgery? Was it covered by your insurance?

um...yeah I think so.

rjl296 did you ever box. I had the same problem had an ultrasound no gyno and the doctor told me it could be from taking punches there. Only have the problem in the right one not the left.

I had the same problem about a year and a half ago. I saw 3 doctors about it, 1 plastic surgeon, and had an ultrasound done. All the doctors said I didn't have gyno and the ultrasound was negative. People have a misconception about gyno. Sore nipples/lump is just the beginning stage, it doens't mean you have gyno. Gyno doesn't happen overnight or even within a few weeks. It takes a long time for actual breast tissue to develope.
Your ok bro.

I didn't do anything about it. They aren't sore when I'm off cycle. It usually only flares up when I'm taking alot of stuff. 750mgs or less of test only doesn't bother me too much but if I add d-bol or tren (go figure) then they get sore. I haven't developed any breast tissue but I do have a little fat on my nips (bulking)

so rj, i take it ohip will not cover the removal in your case? are you gonna pursue it more?

i dont know what ohip is ??
yes, it is covered by my health care though, since its causeing extreme discomfort.

whats your bodyfat?

im convinced i have gyno too (no cycles) but my doc says i dont have much (if any)...

The only thing i can think is that im holding some extra fat there... but my BF isnt so high... i mean... i can see some abs when i flex... i have veins in my arms/lower/lower abs... i dont see why I would hold an extraordinary amount of fat on my chest

OHIP is who covers the cost of medical expenses for us canadians. So are you gonna go thru with surgery as it will be covered?

oh yeah.
thats is, if this stupid cream doesnt work

could be any number of things bro ... but definately keep an eye on it. Can you actually feel a lumb behind it? Or is it just estrogenic fat? You may be more prone to gyno now though thats for sure. Stick to the anabolics from now on ... Primo, Boldenone, Var, NPP. Winny and Proviron will be good friends too.

You got mail bro!

unfortunately, its not fat.
its a noticable lump.
ill go check my mail

interesting, wonder why i didnt come into this thread sooner

the ultrasound will be fairly definitive, so if your doc is saying it isnt gyno or a prelude to gyno then it probably isnt (youd probably be able to pick if it was gyno from its position relative to the nipple and the gland where you get it, as well as what its made of. another thing that supports it not being gyno is that you got it after a cycle...unless you had a huge rebound and had high estrogen relative to test (standard for post cycle) OR stuffed up your pct or used too much hcg in one hit, then its...less likely...that its gyno. if you didnt use pct or screwed up your hcg like i said, well, who knows, it may be estrogen mediated.

the only real way youre going to find out from here if it is gyno or not is either 1) chop it out and take a look, which is pointless since once you have chopped it out, your care factor hits minus 1 or less, or 2) see if it is responsive to anti gyno drugs, like nolva. several people out in the world have used nolva or clomid to basically starve the breast tissue (gyno) of estrogen, thereby killing it. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, apparently.

as for the steroids in the cream, itll be a corticosteroid, probably hydrocortisone, and is an anti inflammatory. if that makes the bump go away, then you know its inflammation/fluid mediated, and not breast tissue. the corticosteroid will do nothing to breast tissue obviously.

apart from that, follow your doctors advice and get it cut out. while youre in there you might consider getting that gland removed, thereby eliminating the risk of future gyno. chat to the surgeon. if youre getting sliced yo umay as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

a lot of people here are way to trigger happy with the nipple abnormality = gyno mentality. lumps and bumps do occur here and there (cysts, ingrown hairs that turn into abscesses, scar tissue, weird little blobs of fluid etc etc) so chill out, get a second opinion to ease your mind, and thats it, really.

cheers

what about someone who cant really feel significant lump in area, but has excess fat around nipple and area? Is that considered gyno? and what kind of options do they have?

depends if its a fatty deposit or breast tissue. option are: 1) hope it resolves with discontinued roid use (happens) 2) use anti e's as described above, or 3) surgery

most people in my area use option 4) denial or option 5) prayer. neither of these work terribly well i might add
