My Grandfather is dying. Please pray for him!

Hey bros, My Grandfather is starting to die. His Drs. said it may be a week or a few months. This has me really torn up inside since he was really my only father figure growing up as well. Sorry to hear that. The older you get, death becomes a part of your life. I've lost grandparents, several aunts and uncles, cousins. It sux. I hope they're in a better place. Wish I knew.

Before he leaves this earth, Go to see him by yourself and look him in the eye and say " I LOVE YOU"....

Nothing else is needed.

I was on my way out the door of my Dads house during a visit just me and him in his final days.
I turned around and said that to him for the first time that I could remember since being very little.

He said "I love you too and my name", and I left the house.

To this day, I remember that exact moment and smile ...

Thanks for all the replies. I may be flying up there this weekend just for a few days so I can see him. Since I moved, I only get to see him 1-2 times a year, and my Grandmother always says how excited he gets when he knows I'm coming to visit. My wife and I suprised him last year at Christmas, and he was so excited that he actually cried. That was the first time in my life I ever saw him cry. I was getting ready to spend about $600 on some more gear, but I think this will be a better way to spend it, with another suprise visit. Please keep the prayers coming, I just dont want him to suffer.
