today a man from the army came into my school and i went to the meeting for it,he told me about going to college in a police or law course then applying to be a MP,it starts pay at 56 grand a yr and its a three yr job then i can sign on for another three or leave and if i stay then after the next 3 yrs i have the chance at a 14 yr contract which takes me to retirement unless i want to stay for 5 years after that and id be getting 50% of my regular pay as a pention,this job will be great i get to travel to different countries and i will retire young enough to start a second career and be a rich rich old man,im looking forward to this

anybody here in the canadian forces?

Bro I used to be a member of the Canadian Forces....... it really SUCKED !!! Don't think you'll be involved in all kinds of conflict and see actions just like the US Marines..... no ! Last time canadian ground troops were involved I think it was during the Korean war. yes the pay check is good but fuck I needed action and thats why I left .....

i wont be infantry,mp is liek security for the canadian consulates in other countires,thats what i wanna do,and they do security for army bases,no real fighting
