My friend just died.....

One of my friends just died. Nobody knows for sure how he died..But doctors said he died from a heart attack from two different kinds of steroids.. They dont even know what kind they were.
I did not know him that good and i have not seen him in about a year. But i heard he got really big and he took steroids for about a year.
Knowing him he didnt do any research and he did not not know what he was doing. And he had already had heart problems before.
But now that this has happen alot of the people that know i am on roids is all paranoid on me. And they all think i am going to die now. And they think steroids are really evil.
Do you guys know how i can prove to my friends that i am not going to just straight up die from roids. What are the chances of me really having a heart attack from steroid use?
Because i know what i am doing ..i have done alot of research befor i even thought about it.
I would appreciate it if you could could give me any info on this

man you already mention the arguments: you friend didnt do any research (this not apple juice we're talking about), and he already had heart problems..... sorry to hear that.. :bawling:

if your bro already had heart problems and took roids he prob. raised his blood pressure which could have helped the pre existing problems, education is the key.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Just like anything else, education is the key. As far as convincing people around you that you aren't going to have the same thing happen, well that is going to be difficult. It is hard enough to explain to people we interact with on a daily basis about steroid use when things are going fine, but when someone passes away and steroids are blamed you are facing a mountainous task trying to convince others you will be fine. Just take care of yourself, get your blood work done and keep in touch with your doc...prevention is the best key to prove to everyone you will not suffer any negative sides from the drugs you are on. Again sorry for your loss.

Really sorry to hear about your misfortune bro. The whole "not seen him in a year" thing don't make it much better does it??
I lost a good buddy of mine last year who moved only about 4 hours or so away. We eventually just stopped talkin all the time and almost a year past when I got the call that he had passed.
I would ALWAYS tell myself, "oh, I'll call him tomorrow to see whats up"
Well tomorrow came and went, a bunch of times, till one day tomorrow was too late.
Call your bro's. See whats up. Even if they weren't your best buds in the world. You never realize how much fun you had w/them till they're gone. You have my deepest regrets....stay strong.
