My first tattoo

Reason is because I lived through 2 wars in Lebanon.

2 arms pulling in the center to show my passion for arm wrestling and strength sports

One arm has the Lebanese cedar tree on it to show where I'm from and the other arm has the Canadian maple leaf to show where I'm at.

The bottom lettering - monogram spells N, J, K...these are the first letters of my sister's, mom's, and dad's names...representing my family.

The whole tat is in shades of black, grey and white.

Everything is surrounded with flames.

The picture is not very clear, I'll post a better one as soon as it heals and the scabbing falls off..

I did this whole thing in one session, took 9 hours...so painful fuck

I thought if I'm going to piss off a lot of people anyways because it's against my religion, culture, etc...then I might as well make sure it means something to me and that I'm not going to regret it in a few years...I think it turned out pretty good. Cost a ton of money too, $1200.

I designed it myself. She made minor changes and provided feedback on what she thought looked better, etc....she's really talented. I'm happy with the result.

it bled for 9 hours straight, blood sugar levels dropped, artist told me to come back, i said i'll soldier it out.

myself, I wanted to get "Fear is your only God" tatted across my shoulders/lats back when I was young (OK, 3 years ago)

Now, if I were to get anything, it would be my family crest on a delt or something. I can trace my ancestors back to one family that came to America, and all the first sons have the same name.
