my first injection scared

zicc if I were you i would seperate those into 2 shots it will be less sore and also I just personally wouldnt want to shoot more than 3 cc's at a time. also may help keep your levels constant. But as with most things it comes down to personal preference.

Did you ask why it took so long to fill the syringe? It's a real pain in the ass to draw the oil if you haven't pumped some air into the vial first. Try pushing 2 cc's of air over the solution before drawing 1cc of oil out. That should make it easier.

Bro, don't be surprised if you start looking forward to your injections...I know I do. I still get a nervous rush sometimes right before, but in a good way. I keep injectable B-12 around so I can still inject when I'm not on...good practice. And don't forget to aspirate. Anyway, congratulations, you broke your cherry.

Check you other post on aspirating, I reponded with an URL to a lot of good info on injecting including asirating from some smart bros.

A sig of one of the vets (WB) on this board comes to mind:

Mama can't help you now....This is big boy school.

:FRlol: :FRlol: :FRlol:

(That always cracks me up and it just seem appropriate here.)

Well guys let me tell ya something. I'm thinking i can beat all your needle stories......i got a freakin spinal tap. Well actually 2. If you don't know, a spinal tap is wheer they take an 8 inch needle and push it in the base of your back, ALLLL the way in and up into your spinal cord. They then draw the spinal fluid. It's pretty dangerous. The first "session" the guy kept hitting the nerves in my spine and it woudl shock my whoel body, even my pelvic bone! Second session went fine. All in all from the first spinal tap until i got out of the hospital (they woudl take my blood every hour) i got about 35 shots....so suck it up and do it already! lol that little 1.5" needle doesn't sounds so bad now does it. :-)
You guys have a good one!

Chris
