So last night was my first real fight,
My friends and I were at a bar, and two guys were trying to hit on some girls i know.
We were civil about it, or at least tried to be. Until one of the two guys starts yapping on about what a "big" mofo his friend is, and how the guy is apparently tough. Things stopped there, until later on in the evening, some guy about 6'7 pretty heavy, comes up to us and starts questioning us about who head butted his friend earlier... I thought yep here we go a token bullshit excuse to try and provoke us. The guy made a move for my friend and i stand in his way and put my arm out blocking him. (so glad i work out
) the big guy then starts taking back things he said, and that he was only trying to get to the bottom of things and diffuse the situation.
Security then gets involved and drags me and 3 of my friends out of there. So were all outside waiting for someone to come pick us up, and my friends are talking about how much they want to fu** the people up. Now all well and good but when one in particular is all talk and no walk, you know your going to get entagled in the shit and either take the blows or fight for him.
Then the guys we had argued with come outside.. and walk straight past us... no problems whatsoever. They had numbers of 10 or more. Then my friend bringing up the argument, eventually the argument resumes and the fight breaks out, security tries to disperse it, the 10 or more people each brought their friends along, and it was on for young and old. I shepparded one of my friends who was about to get sidelined, then one big mofo smacked me with surprise punches from behind. Now i havent been hit in years, but the age old theorys are true.
-dogs arent as fierce as their bark
-size doesnt mean you know how to throw a punch.
-some security guards are wankers
My other friends are in skirmishes elsewhere, noticing it didnt hurt my reflexes to start fighting didnt kick in, i just wanted to go home at this point by now we were outnumbered 10-1, and even if that huge group of guys was just a bunch of girls who punch like fairys. The mathematics would catch up to us.
Which brings me to my point, I read in a previous post somewhere that in a rumble, or when getting jumped by multiple people you can actually come out with less bruises the more opponents are present?
Last night i found this to be true, standing your ground with your guard up and just keeping some distance between the guys coming at you is golden. Keep them at bay with some pushing, and then sneak in some punches. This way the rumble is over sooner. And you can still go home in one piece.
Some people would disagree, one of my friends afterwards wanted to continue the fight. Even when security diffused the situation and the nancy boys realised attacking en masse, and running to charge at people on slippery ground isnt effective. My friend still wanted to incite something as there was one person he wanted to get.
Another question, what can i do to convince this person that,
-you shouldnt fight with odds are 10-1, with security guards also in the mood to hit you
-you shouldnt fight if you dont know how to fight
-the "honour" in beating the fuck out of someone, who tapped you on the cheek doesnt exist.
So. this was one of my first posts and its a long one.
any thoughts fellas on these issues..
Do you allways come out unscathed or close to it when many people attack you?
Whats your philospohy or technique in diffusing a fight or fighting multiple pansys, and skilled fighter in a street fight?
Did i do the right thing by not escalating the fight further by just defending my friends, should i have sought vengance for being tapped on the jaw?
...and what gets blood stains out of white shirts?
