My first drug test

I did my first qualifier yesterday with the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation.

My condition was off, which I knew it would be, and I didn't qualify, BUT I did get drug tested.

The official came up to me after I came off the stage, said I was the random selection for drug testing.

I was given this little package of bits, and a female official came with me to the loo.

I had to pee in this big cup, which had a temperature indicator strip on the side, which she looked at, and then pour it into two smaller containers that had wee flip down locking things on them.

I went back to the first official, he sealed the containers with a A and B sample (with bar codes), filled out some paperwork, had me sign that the samples were not adulterated when I produced them, popped it all into a sealing specimen bag, and then I got to eat brownies (which I really shouldn't have a diet break as I did not qualify as I am fat)

The samples are freeze-dried in a lab in the UK, then sent to Quest labs in the US for testing.

How cool is that?

Obviously, we don't do as much drug testing here, so either it is cheaper or more legal or something to have them done in the States.

Anyway, you can see why I was tested, I look like a MONSTER next to the other women.

I am having today off, well, I will probably train legs as I am so carb loaded (I know what over-spilling now means), back on full on cardio and diet tomorrow for the next qualifier for the next federation.

Wow, interesting that the send it to the US for testing. I was watching a show about Olympic testing. They now are saving testing samples for 8 years, so when they come up with more advanced testing in the future, they could still go back and catch people cheating with designer substances they may have taken currently to beat the test.

Most likely because it is cheaper.
Quest Diagnostics is the largest lab chain in the US. Majority of the doctors in my area use Quest.
Testing is expensive while shipping is not.
Sorry to hear that you did not qualify. Better luck next time.

I was not as lean as the girls that placed above me.

I need to work on my abs and calves, they stood out as falling behind, which is not surprising as I don't train them as much.

(or rarely, as is the case for abs)

Judging by the pics you were robbeb big time and you were the only one with a real bodybuilding package! I mean the other competitors didn't seem to even know how to pose. Bloody unfair, you seemed to good to be natural and that's why things got terribly. Your back is very very impressive and the lace between delt and arm very aesthetical. Good Job

Cute little woman, she is lovely. She was there watching, she is already qualified for the Brit finals as she went to the nattie universe last year.

You Looked ths BEST I dont care

the most Strong body up there

the others may have been a tiny bit leaner ( tiny)

but you over all package far outweighed that 1 issue

I have used dandylion root, and a few other herbal diuretics, however, at my bodyfat right now, there was no point in dehydrating.

I do think I over-spilled a bit due to a bit of my own dieting voodoo in the last week and a half
