My final words on Platinum

George, I'm not sure how much that I'm going to use the platinum account, but I wish to support this site. I spend a lot of time here which I enjoy very much. I'm joining as soon as my wife gets her butt home with our credit cards. The Elitefitness select board sounds real interesting. No one should expect you to operate this board at a loss.

As soon as I have the cash to sign up for platinum you will have my business there as well. this site is amazing, as both a resource and a place to discuss just about anything... There are some great people here but for 140$ or so a year...hell..that is a membership at a local gym, or 4 cans of nitotech..or hell...a good bottle of GOOD EQ!

There needs to be more than the vboard with pictures and a few karma points. That is for sure. THis board has given you a lot more exposure and a great deal of information on its members...hince the routine emails...etc...that are generated and sent via your network concerning your products..etc. You have a target market here. Maybe having a PRO come in once a month or something...maybe get a booth at the Arnold's CLassic and drum up even more biz....and send a few members there for free..based on a random drawing. I don't know..but hell...most of the AS info out there is copied directly from books or has been put into other's words after they have read it somewhere.

There needs to be a helluva lot more for $140 or so per year. Sure $12 a month don't seem like shit to some...but sifting through all the flames and bullshit posts gets tiresome and then to have to pay for it...well...guess Im just a cheap bastard. You have a great thing going here but to charge it must first be worth seperating a guy and his hard earned dough. Whats out there now can be picked up free from just about a gazillion sites and most of these guys are on other boards...there are a trillion of them out there.

One thing I really liked a few months back..was offering the email through hushmail. That was a great idea. Im sure it worked great for advertisements...but now it is something that could be another selling point. Web space and other stuff is free everywhere. And you can always tell a supposed GURU and which book he is quoting from...the OUTDATED WAR book or the "I wanna copy Dan D. and steal all of his work and put it into my own book" Anabolics 2000 book.

There are some great people I've met over here and mostly through emails. Always nice to meet people in the struggle. But for nearly 150$ a year there needs to be more to get my dough. Guess Im one of 19 yr old cheap asses that is living with his mother(Im 28 and have a family) but I think I can live without it.

No disrespect here...just sounding off as one of the minority in this thread.

That was my pole........& EF was getting it's butt kicked over it. Notice they ripped my pole off so that the day shift could not see it. The vaaaaaaaaaaaaast majority said they will not pay. You need to get a grip. I think people are starting get tired of listening to you garbage. It's a website, if you don't like it and don't want to pay, DON'T COME. It's really easy. Take your own advice and go click somewhere else, it's not really that hard.

No, you went out of your way to encourage people not to join. You also tried to turn Karma points into a censorship conspiracy. I would appreciate it if you would find another board where you can be happy. There's no reason to come here if you are not.

no problem with that Cracker - you are simply pointing out that you think for that price point that there should be more in it or a cheaper price should be introduced (which may be difficult with transaction costs), a perfectly legitimate argument IMO -

I was referring to the people who wont pay for anything at any price but always want someone else to add expensive features and then complain when it doesnt happen within the next week.

BTW: George, count you make it a cheaper price and a 6month or annual fee? this would reduce a lot of the transaction costs and better make it affordable to those who are willing but on a budget - just an idea.

It just all came so suddenly. I bet half the folks on this board saw the word cost and didn't read the rest of what was being offered. I would have to say that once I saw it I was a bit discouraged to know that there was no warning. I tell people all the time to come check out this site, hell I left Anabolic Xtreme to come here b/c there were more knowledgable people and a variety of different people from all over the world posting their info. I know that I'm just rambling but I'm also now trying to get some karma points. LOL

I understand where you coming from George.
I will subscribe and I will continue to pass the EF name on to my friends.
