Current drawn depends on the impedance of the load. In this case I= V/R, where V is 120V AC, and R is the impedance of the dog's ground path.

A standard domestic AC plug is usually fed by a 15A or 20A circuit breaker.

Oh, and A PAPILLON??? What a foo-foo little girly dog! My cat would eviscerate a Papillon.

Cats are fuckin useless

Cats keep our grain silos free of rodents. What the heck use is a 7 lb dog? It sure as hell ain't a hunting companion, nor can it herd sheep or cattle.

Only possible use is as an alarm, since they bark at anything that moves or makes a sound.

Thing is, we don't have much control over the current. You can't force 10 Amps through a shock victim, you can only present a voltage potential, the current is determined by the conductivity of the path to ground through the victim.

I have a 1 year old papillion that gets in more trouble than pick3 in a locker room full of of naked men.Fucker chewed threw a lamp cord and lit up like a christmas tree, making a noise that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.I think shes gonna be alright if she can stop shaking Oh well guess she learned a lesson.
lol...is your doggy okay? I didnt read the whole thing.
