My Diet is Startin' Today

Man. But I need to lose my last bit of fat, so here we go. Starting weight is 198 (I have a thin bone structure, plus I ain't all that big to begin with) so I'm aiming for 185 - 190. I'll try to post most of it under a new thread, but I want to name my diet something good. I'll probably lift 6 days a week, cardio and abs alternating days. It'll be low carb, low-mod fat and high protein. I did a diet last summer that dropped me supa qik, and I posted it on a different board. Once I find it I'll put it up. Basically, it's all protein based, kind of like NC's quick fix diet, but not as low on calories. Now, to go and Pump Iron. ;) -KD :bawling: :bawling:
 
Okay, here's the deal. I've been on low carbs, less than 100/day for 2 weeks, but I ate whatever I wanted in regards to that. No calorie counting, nothin. Yesterday I started keeping track, and I plan on running a CKD for 5 or 6 weeks. I can't come up w/the scientific explanation on why it's good to go 2 weeks w/out carbs to start, but it is real. These diets are usually extremely easy for me to stay on. I might post up my plan later, but I just thought I'd say what I'm running with. I do know that I'm probably gonna have a quick carb up on Sunday, as I think my workouts and overall energy level are starting to suffer. Thanks for the support, too. If anyone's interested I could post progress. I've run a CKD 3 times before, so I'm pretty good at the details, etc. -KD
 
I remember reading that the adaptions to ketosis take about 3 weeks, so after two weeks straight of ketosis, I'd assume many of the adaptions would have already taking place making life after the carb-up easier.

Good luck, post your progress too if you would.

Thanks, I came back to post pretty much what you said and you saved me the time. If I put up progress i'll start a different thread. i've kinda been in and outta ketosis for the 2 weeks, depending on what I ate.
 
Carbing up right now, been about 2 weeks. Gonna run it w/Dymetadrene Xtreme. I'll pro'lly drop a new thread w.info later. OUT

Something I ate is really disagreeing w/me. I "went to the bathroom (the one where you can sit there and read a magazine)" 4 times before 6 pm today and I seem to be tanking up on water. Hopefully I'm not getting sick, cuz I really want to hit this diet hard starting tomorrow. Only good thing is since I'm holding water, I'm probably alot heavier, so it will look like I drop alot of fat real quick on the diet. Or at least that's what I could tell the uneducated.
