My bench is bigger than my squat

Well post up your training regimen. We cant tell because we dont know what you are doing. That is odd.

As I recall you haven't been training seriously for all that long. It's more than just long legs but as a rule that tends to make it harder. It will iron itself out over time.

As I recall you are using one of the Starr programs so I'd imagine your squat will catch up quickly since this tends to be the emphasized lift.

If you've recently switched to going full ATF then a drop in weight lifted is as common as suddenly benching more than you can squat. Take a good read of the squat sticky in the power forum. It probably bears reading several times.

My raw squat is over 200 pounds more than my raw flat bench.

Squat, Squat, Squat.

When I was younger, my squat and bench were pretty close, but my gains in squat have been more consistent throughout the years and now my squat is a little under one and a half times as much as my bench. After you have been training squat for a while longer you'll probably notice a similar trend

Agreed....I just started real squats about a year ago....maxes were close.

Now I easily rep past my bench max.

Give it some time....and like B Fold said...Squat, Squat, Squat.

I've had success with high-rep squating for a few weeks, then going back heavy for a few weeks.

strangely enough, I squat and bench with the same bar, but my legs are huge. I can't figure out why they won't get very strong, but they grow like no tomorow? It's weird, not that i'm complaining or anything though.
