I am about halfway through my first ever cycle. It is just a light one: Sust 250 Redi-Jects as follows: 250, 250, 500, 500, 500, 500, 250, 250 supplemented with Novaldex. Here is what I have notcied so far as I am in no way experienced in doing this. PLEASE PROVIDE FEEDBACK!

1) MY ASS hurts! I am alternating injection sites, between what I believe is the Iliac crest. This would be the roll above the dimple on each butt cheek. After a month of this, I am getting a mildly painful lump in each area. Today's injection felt tough to bury the needle. What is going on here? Fibroids?

2) On this cycle, exactly what gains will I see? I have gained maybe 5 lbs, but I also quit smoking a week ago. I seem to be cutting up a little. I am definitely getting stronger. How much mass can I expect to add, understanding that I am genetically predisposed towards the leaner side.

3) I am not getting any of the frequent side effects - No roid rage, zits, etc. In fact, I am a little mellower. I am just as horny, better stiffies (not that anyone really wanted to know).

4) Next go around, should I add an oral tab in with mix? I like using the Redi-Jects as they are no-fuss, no-muss.

Not once have you mentioned diet, training or recovery in your post. Gear will not work by itself. Sus may hurt due to the prop in it. Many say that mixing it with another shot like deca can help. Firstly we need more details like stats, diet, training etc.
 
Diet is pretty good - ~4000 cal per day, <75g fat, lots of complex carbs, ~200G protein

Workout schedule is decent - About 1 hour X 5 days per week, no cardio right now. Breaking days out to chest, arms, legs, shoulders/back, mix.

Recovery is minimal. I WO at 0500 then get ready for work. (Un)Fortunately, I have a family and all of the traditional domestic duties, so I do not have the luxury of a single guy with a lighter schedule.
 
That may be the propionate in the sus hurting your ass. Sustonon shots are known to hurt. I believe in testoviron depot instead.
 
OK, everything looks good there. Maybe up the protein to 300g and make sure your meals are split up into 6+ servings each day rather than eating 3 larger portions. I know you have family commitments, as do I, but you need to make the time for sleep and try and aim for 8 quality hours each night. Muscle will not grow without recovery and this is when it recovers most. If you are up at 5:00 then you should be asleep no later than 9:00pm. You are only as strong as your weakest link.
Failing to do so will only slow your progress - make the time and give things up if you are that serious about your training. Nobody said bodybuilding is easy but with decent planning you can do it as well as hold a full time job and raise a family.
 
I can tell you, the Sust shot in the quad (my first one) hurt like a SOB. I limped for 3 days. I didn't hit anything, easy in and out, just got bad by the end of the day. Wont do that one again.
 
Like I said, if you add anything into the mix put deca with the sus or switch it for enanthate as mike peters said. Also make sure you are injecting deep enough otherwise it won't get absorbed properly and may form a hard lump.
 
Try doing 4sets of Hyperextension at least 3times week
in conjunction with stiff legged dead lift during your workout

You should work your buttocks frequently and you'll feel with no pain, trust me
 
Nothing hurts worse than the truth. The sleep may be the problem...I shoot for 7 hours, usually get 6-7.

The hitch may be that my kids are 4 and 7 months. They can't fend for themselves yet. Protein I can up. Work is work, it pays the bills - no choice there.

Any guess about the buildup under the injection sites? It's not an abcess or anything. It just feels like swollen muscle. Is it the Sust as someone else suggested?
