i figured id post some pics taken when i was in the army..the pics are almost 5 years old..enjoy

As some of you might know, here in Norway, most males have to spend a year in the army. When i was doing MY time, i took lots of pics. and i thought id share some of em with you guys.

In the beginning one didnt know what to excpect you know. may new people, and entirely new invorement, It was exciting

But after a while you got more into it..Ask a guy why he wants to go in the army and he says "they let me blow shit up"...wich they did

But there is more to it than that..i got many great friends while was in the army..one could say it was the happiest time of my life.

Ofcourse, with all the guns and stuff there were bound to be injuries...but i still treid to read my FLEX(on the table). and i always kept my gun close by.

When i first got in the army i was skinny and white

But i tried my best to get bigger and stronger

Sometimes one needed big strong guys to get things done

And to those of you that have never been to Norway...i tell you..Norwegian nature ROCKS

Seeing as i was in the northern parts of Norway it was damn COLD

But we always treid to keep our spirits up by smiling..and carrying a big gun helps to.

Even though it was cold. we HAD to get clean somehow...living in a tent for 2 weeks..with no change of underwear makes a man desperate.

But someitmes..sometime..it actually werent any snow...those we nice days

And in the end..i actually felt like a army man

I went to norway when I was 6 and it was amazing. I've talked with people from there recently and they say that much has changed since then.
when I was there (mostly in Oslo is where my family lives - Stensland is the family if you've ever heard of it - I know that when my relatives came over, at that time it was as common as Smith is in the states, but others I've spoken with have never heard of anyone with that last name.)

anyway, norway was really beautiful - I was there at the end of the summer so it was a great temp and long days. it was the first time I went to a water park. and the fjords were the coolest things I've ever seen.

never got to play with c4 no...being a medic i just played with peoples wounds...but i did see the results of people being too close to c4..not pretty

funny you talk about me and girls, I have a pic on my fridge where it looks like I'm talking to this chick and flexing - I'll have to scan it and post it if I remeber later tonight.
as for the army, I wasn't there long enough to join - but I did get to go on a Russian battle ship. The guy spoke very broken english and generally pointed out fire extinguishing equipment for the most part.
I did get to shoot some guns though, and that was way fun for a 6 year old.

good times.
I had a camera with me and most pf the pics are either of the grass, or of me at arms length.
