Uhh....what??? Stay away from the capsules bro. You'd have to take like 30 of them a day to even get a minimal dosage.

As far as the oil Barlean's is a good brand. Get the freshest stuff you can find, Lignan or regular, and make sure the store you buy from stores it in the fridge.

Go to a couple stores, check out the prices and the freshness.

I'm heading out shopping for sups in a little bit, I'll keep an eye out for Barleans. I don't even know where to look, though. We've got Giant, Food Lion, Shopper Food Warehouse.. and that's about it, other than GNC! And I have no idea if grocery stores carry flax oil..

Drove to a Fresh Fields, got high lignan flax. My joints are feeling better already.

Or maybe that was the five days off work I'm just finishing up..

congrats on your first purchase. On your next purchase you might want to shop around. Around here FF is by far the most expensive. They get $30 for a 32 oz bottle and there's another place nearby where I get it for 21. Look up supplements or natural or whole foods on yahoo! maps for stores. that might sell flax.

I'll keep an eye out.

I stopped at a local grocer today, no luck. So I drove into Reston ( you know Reston, right? ) to stop at Fresh Fields, and actually, you quoted what I bought. The 32oz Barleans for $30.

If there are places selling it for less, well, my broke self will hunt them down!
