I actually like the sharper lines of the new ones......more then the rounded look.....I heard the 2003 Cobra is putting out over 400 hp...

nahhhhhhhhhhhh, the best one was/is the first generation mustang, the origional, the one and only!!. the '66 i have in the garage has gotten more comments than any othe car i have owned!

Oh I agree the 66 is far more appealing than the 71 in terms of style, hands down.

Just somthing I always liked about the 71.

Can't stand the new ones.

In fact, I do not like too many new cars that do not cost a fortune. Otherwise they all pretty much look alike.

Still love my 71 though. Had it for 16 years.

It's actually 390hp and runs the 1/4 in 12.6 secs I think.

its basically a crobra with a supercharger that puts out 380 from what i heard. cost: around 35K. not bad cinsidering what it will run in the 1/4mile. it will beat a stock vette but not the zo6. thats all ive heard.

By brother-in-law said they dynoed one and it put out over 400, but he could be wrong, he did say it put outt more horse then what Ford claimed it had....

muscle mustang dynoed one with an X pipe and cat back and put 395 to the wheel and over 400lb of tq. I'd say that could beat a Z06. The moto has already been put into a 91 coupe that runs 11.10 at 125 on the stock motor.

yeah and from what i've heard they are selling for 34-35k too. not much mark up

They started selling the VIN's on May 25th I believe. Doubt you're gonna have any luck finding one until September when they are scheduled to release more. If you're serious, you should check ou some cobra boards and see if they are out of stock like expected. I wanted to get one but there's no chance in hell I could afford it right now

'90-93 LX 5.0 coupe...by far my favorite mustang of all time. if i ever have some extra money to throw around later in life, i'm gonna try and pick one up.

Those new Cobra's have been said to be understated as far as power but to which end no one knows yet. I guess we'll see when they come out.

Props to Ford for making a car with a SC for $35K. With bigger boost it could be in range with the viper.

they are attempting to sell them as close to msrp as possible and I think msrp is around like 34k or so. dont quote me or anything. its just what i've heard
