I need some help,Ive been away working and secluded from the outside world,and I lost all my music on my harddrive when my laptop crashed,now I need to be brought up to date with the current music out there in all genres.

top 40,alternative,dance stuff like house etc all that stuff.

Stuff that I grabbed in the past few weeks that might like:

Woven Hand - Mosaic (alt. folk. Dude from 16 Horsepower)
Magnolia Electric Co. - Fading Trails (Jason Molina's alt country/Neil Young band)
Harvey Milk - Special Wishes (alt. rock. Has a real cult following. I think they're great but a lot of people think they're too weird/heavy)
Kammerflimmer Kollektief - Cicadidae (Nice meeting of electronica and jazz)
Jorn - Worldchanger (Awesome power metal/trad metal. Jorn sounds like Dio when he was back in Black Sabbath and Coverdale. Cheesy but great)
Emiliana Torrini - Fisherman's Woman (A bit of a departure from Love In The Time Of Science, more of a modern Scandinavian singer/songwriter type deal. Her voice reminds me of the The Tiny but the music isn't that far removed from stuff like Jose Gonzalez or Kristofer Astrom)
