It all depends on your Goals
whether to bulk or not to bulk and how much to bulk, you must not only take in account your initial Fat-percentage and body-type but more important: YOUR GOALS
If u want to be a professional bb, you most likely need to bulk up in order to play with the big boys. While ballooning up like king kamali to 300 lbs may include a lot of fat in the process it's the end that justify the means, and man-made means like DNP and GHwill deliver a huge ripped monster on stage.
However if you want more of a fitness-model look year round and just fool around with some creatine and ECA i think you should be more carefull when bulking. i think that 12% Is a good percentage for a natural bb off-season. You have enough reserves to pack on size and strenth and it's not far away from the 8-10 % BF (where you start to look really cut). I Think most naturals shouldn't bulk up over 15 % BF, while for some chemical assisted guys i know off-season go up to 20 % BF but than again , they have also special means to get rid of the lard.
